Lehigh Gold Potato

$5.00$9.00

The Lehigh Gold was produced by Cornell University in 1994 with a parentage of the Keuka Gold and the Pike. There were once 14,000 acres of land dedicated to potato farming in the Lehigh Valley, now adays only about 400 acres remain. These potatoes were cultivated and named in honor of the potato farming tradition in the Valley.

These are grown on our partner farm on Eagle Road in Quarryville by our Amish friends.

Attractive shape, light yellow flesh similar to Yukon Gold. A great all-purpose potato: good for baking, mashing, boiling, frying, home-fries and they make a mean potato salad.
